Senior Product Engineer, Workflow Studio

Build the core QFlow Studio surfaces that turn quantum ideas into editable workflows, reviewed evidence, and clean team handoffs.

Role context

Where this work shows up.

The day-to-day work stays close to product surfaces, infrastructure paths, learning delivery, or review sessions depending on the role.

Build polished React and Next.js App Router interfaces for workflow design, code review, run evidence, and sharing.

Strong TypeScript, React, CSS/Tailwind, and product engineering judgment.

Remote-first work with async-friendly written decisions.

QFlow Studio workflow canvas overview.

Canvas

The workflow canvas is the center of the user experience.

A team reviewing documents during a working session.

Evidence review

Product decisions must support accountable review.

Scope

You will own product engineering across the workflow canvas, generated code surfaces, run evidence, and the review packet that teams share after a quantum workflow. This role is for someone who can move from product judgment to careful TypeScript implementation without losing the user story. The work is not a generic dashboard. QFlow users need dense, calm interfaces for circuits, provider routing, AI-assisted generation, run status, logs, and share-safe evidence. You will shape those workflows with design, backend, and quantum domain constraints in mind.

Responsibilities

The outcomes this role is expected to make visible and dependable.

  • Build polished React and Next.js App Router interfaces for workflow design, code review, run evidence, and sharing.
  • Turn ambiguous workflow requirements into clear product states, empty states, validation, and recoverable errors.
  • Work with backend APIs for workflows, runs, notifications, academy progress, and admin controls.
  • Keep mobile and desktop layouts readable without turning technical work into marketing pages.
  • Improve Playwright coverage for the public site, authenticated studio, and admin workflows.

What helps

Experience and working habits that make the hiring review easier.

  • Strong TypeScript, React, CSS/Tailwind, and product engineering judgment.
  • Experience building complex tools where users scan, compare, edit, and repeat work daily.
  • Comfort with API contracts, state management, accessibility, and browser debugging.
  • Ability to write tests that catch real regressions instead of only checking happy paths.
  • Interest in quantum workflows is required; deep physics background is helpful but not mandatory.

Benefits

How the role is supported day to day.

  • Remote-first work with async-friendly written decisions.
  • Direct ownership of product surfaces used by technical teams.
  • Small-team scope across frontend, product, and workflow reliability.
  • Practical interview loop with a focused working session.

Hiring process

The process is structured around practical review and clear next steps.
